In some intermediate synthesis processes of fine chemical, medicine, pesticide and dye industries, some wastewater with high salinity will be produced. Because of high salinity, bacteria are not able to survive, so the wastewater cannot be biologically treated unless the salts in the wastewater are mostly removed by evaporation and crystallization in advance. In the zero discharge treatment processes of electroplating wastewater and PCB wastewater, the concentrated water of RO or EDR contains high salinity, and usually needs to be treated by evaporation and crystallization to fulfill water recycling and zero discharge. Comparing with conventional multi-evaporation, MVR evaporation has the characteristics of small area covering and low energy consumption, and becomes most reliable and most effective technical solution of the wastewater with high salinity. The zero discharge devices with high salinity designed by CEI possess the advantages of reliable operation, energy saving and high automation.
